Hello, my name is Lisa Fell and I am the Head Teacher of Newton Primary School.

I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Head Teacher at Newton Primary School. As a former pupil with many close links to the Village and community, I am passionate about developing and leading the school forward. The school prides itself on its warm, friendly ethos and close relationships with parents. We have small class numbers allowing a more personalised curriculum adapted to the child’s interests and needs.

It is extremely important to me that the children at Newton are happy and that all their needs, academic and otherwise, are met. I am very keen for the children to make visits to a wide variety of places, expanding and enhancing the curriculum along with their knowledge and experience. We also encourage and welcome many visitors to the school, including offering a wide range of sporting opportunities.

People who visit the school always comment on the lovely, friendly, ‘family feel’ environment that Newton offers. They are always surprised how big it is on the inside and what great facilities we have. We have four well equipped classrooms, a large hall and a small room for group work . There is a large outdoor play area that includes a grassed area, adventure playground and two enclosed areas for the younger children.

We offer nursery provision as well as a breakfast and after-school club.
