Years 1/2

Children are taught in a range of small phonics groups dependent on their phonics development, in line with the LCP Phonics programme. Phonics are integrated into English sessions and across the curriculum wherever possible.

Reading Scheme

We follow the Oxford Reading Scheme and children progress through the Stages as their reading skills develop. When children have fulfilled the reading scheme a selection of free reading books are available.
